Before the nights have drawn in a final chance this season to practice Night Navigation.
Meet at the layby on the B977 at the East end of the hill (NJ 743038) at 18:00
As the light fades will navigate through the forest remnants and up onto the open hillside.
We will spend about 3 hours, practicing various techniques, before returning to the layby for 22:00
All levels of skill will be catered for; this is an excellent chance to gain confidence in poor viability navigation.
Please dress for the weather on the night and bring a suitable compass and (fully charged) head torch. Bring a snack and something to drink.
